This is our beautiful girl Misty. A loving 16 year old cat who came to us as her elderly owner passed away.
When giving Misty her health check we discovered she had hyperthyroidism, severely deteriorated hearing, and arthritis – especially in the leg where she has a metal plate from a suspected road traffic accident. Misty has also been incredibly sad since coming to us, and we know she very much misses her owner and home life.
Misty’s conditions means she now requires multiple medications every day, and a very understanding home to monitor her and help her navigate the world as she inevitably loses her hearing completely. We hope her foster home can help bring happiness back to Misty’s life and she continues to improve on her medication.
