Pets at Home and The Groom Room, Barrow are always on hand to help us here at Animal Welfare (Furness). We are official charity partners of the Barrow store, meaning we have many opportunities to be in store, from appeals and campaigns to collections and donations, we couldn't do it without all the amazing help we get from the Barrow team.

The Pets Foundation are the national funders of Pets at Home, that support charities like ours throughout the UK.
The Pets Foundation has supported our Outdoor Cat Project and the costs of veterinary treatment for many cats in our rescue cattery. Funds that have made a huge difference to the work we do - thank you.

The Barrow Community Tesco team have been amazing supporters of Animal Welfare (Furness) for a very long time. From hosting us for awareness days, fundraising on our behalf during their own events and projects, hosting a food donation bin and much, much more. We are incredibly grateful to Nat and the team for all the effort and thought they give to our charity.

The Association of Dogs & Cats Homes is a vital organisation ensuring the rescue, rehoming, safeguarding and work surrounding animal welfare in this sector, in the UK, are at the highest possible standards.
By being members of the ADCH, ensures we work to the Minimum Welfare & Operational Standards, providing quality rehoming facilities, procedures and practices.

Furness Veterinary Centre is our primary partner vet. We have developed a great working relationship with Claire, Rob and the team to ensure each animal in our care receives the best possible veterinary treatment whilst being in our cattery and once rehomed.

WCF Pet & Equestrian, Ulverston have a fantastic team who are always on hand to help us here at Animal Welfare (Furness). As official charity partners WCF have supported us from appeals and campaigns to collections and donations, we couldn't do it without all their amazing help.

The wonderful staff of BAE contribute each month to their ‘Give As You Earn’ fund, from this a dedicated team find and support worthy causes in the Furness area, providing much needed funds to support projects, like us at Animal Welfare (Furness).

Each year we organise a team to walk the K2B & C2B event. From the fantastic people who walk to support our charity, to the committee who organise the event and deliver funds raised to worthy causes, the event generates fantastic support to help us to do the work we do.

Cumbria CVS are an amazing organisation who support us as a charity with our volunteer project, education and training and provide funding information and opportunities. The team are incredibly supportive and are always there for help and guidance.

Lynda and the team at the Ulverston store have supported AWF for many years, through awareness days, fundraising, food donation stations and taking any opportunity to support us that they can. The support and funds raised have been vital to our charity.

The Co-operative shops in the local area have been fantastic supporters of Animal Welfare (Furness) by hosting our food donation stations. You can find these at the Abbey Road and Roose Road stores in Barrow, Dalton store, and Market Street and Priory Road stores in Ulverston.

As members of the Barrow Business Improvement District, our charity has been greatly supported, from Christmas trees and involvement in the town events, to receiving grants to help improve our facilities – including signage for our buildings.

The Furness Media team have provided vital support to help AWF become future proof with our new website, re-branding and back office organisation. Guy, Sophie, Rosie and the team are fantastic to work with and have ensured our charity is ready for our future growth.
